CANOE is proud of the focus article on BALAKOVO Carbon Production LTD, our partner in CARBOPREC European project.

In its issue 2 published  on June 26^th 2017, the Russian magazine « Journal Engineers and Industrialists » has highlighted the only company of the Russian chemical industry which participates in collaborative programs guided by the European Community: BALAKOVO Carbon.

This company is one of our partners in CARBOPREC European project  since 2014. In this respect Patrice GAILLARD, CANOE manager, thanks the European Commission and the project’s referring agent, Achilleas STALIOS, for allowing this collaboration.

Like a green sprout among dried plants, BALAKOVO Carbon Production LTD – led by Sergei MOTORIN, experienced manager – has emerged on the territory of the former association BALAKOVO Textile.

Benefitting from its technology and its industrial line equipped with an automated waste treatment system, BALAKOVO Carbon Production LTD  is able to produce 30 to 40 tons of carbon fiber a year.

Today BALAKOVO Carbon Production LTD is the only Russian company that can supply carbon fiber-based materials – obtained from cellulose – in the form of fibers or fabrics.

The next goal of the company is to collaborate with heavy industry companies on replacing metal parts with composite parts.
