On April 27^th 2016, the first French chemist Arkema signed with Ségolène ROYAL (French Secretary of State for environment, energy and sea), Emmanuel MACRON (French Secretary of State for economy, industry and digital technology) and with 4 other partners – including the technical center CANOE – the REVERPLAST agreement. The project goal is to incorporate recycled materials in manufacturing process of innovative thermoplastic materials for automotive, marine and wind energy markets. This project is part of a new government strategy to support companies in developing circular economy, entitled “Green Growth Pledge”.
