[ANNOUNCEMENT] – RICHARD AUDRY, NEW PRESIDENT OF THE CANOE TECHNOLOGY CENTER

The Management Board of CANOE elected Richard Audry as President on 28 July 2021. He succeeds Patrice Gaillard who had held this position since July 2020.

 

A chemist by training, Richard Audry began his career in R&D and business leadership at ELF ATOCHEM, ATOFINA, CRAY VALLEY and ARKEMA. Over the years, he has held a variety of managing positions including the ARKEMA R&D center (GRL) in Lacq, where he served from 2004 to 2009 as general manager, focused on the local economic development (key figure in the Chemstart’up business service center project in Lacq, President of ENSGTI engineering school in Pau).

 

Richard Audry then served as ARKEMA’s « new advanced materials » Incubator manager first in France and then in the USA. He returned to Arkema’s headquarters in 2017, when he was successively named managing director for composite activities and scientific advisor on behalf of ARKEMA R&D Vice-President.

 

Richard Audry has been in charge of the ARKEMA/CANOE cooperation agreement for several years. Thanks to his 40 years of experience in the fields of chemistry and materials, he is thrilled to help CANOE continue to expand the reach and impact of this rapidly growing R&T center in New-Aquitaine region
