On October 11^th 2016 in Hotel de Region building, CANOE attended the signing ceremony of the partnership agreement between Nouvelle Aquitaine region board and CEA/DAM about development of technologies and local dual collaborations.

The idea is to join forces to strengthen competitiveness and international exposure of local system in 3 priority fields:

• Photonic and electromagnetism,
• Multi-physical and multi-scale simulation and digital modeling of complex systems,
• Advanced materials, e.g. high performance materials and related processes (ceramics, polymers and composites, surface treatment…)
