On February 17^th-18^th 2016 in FIDAMC facilities of Airbus Madrid, CANOE attended the T0 + 12M steering committee of H2020 European project FORTAPE.

Beside their strong involvement during technical meetings, partners had the opportunity to see various equipment located in the facilities (MTorres automated deposition devices, composites processing equipment, autoclave for large parts, additive manufacturing technologies…). A demo of in situ, out-of-autoclave, deposition and strengthening of impregnated thermoplastic tapes, manufactured by CANOE and ARKEMA as part of H2020 FORTAPE project, has been also shown.

The strong collaboration between FIDAMC and CANOE will be also shown in a common talk during IC³ (International Carbon Composites Conference) on May 9^th-11^th 2016 in Arcachon (France). This talk entitled “From Formulation to Final Composite Parts: Functionalized High-Performance and Cost-Effective Composites Made from UD Thermoplastic Tapes” will be co-presented by F. RODRIGUEZ (FIDAMC) and T. SAVART (CANOE).
