As part of their WIDE ANGLE section of their 938 issue of May 2017, “Plastique & Caoutchouc” (Plastic & Rubber) magazine wrote a focus section about “RECYCLING, an essential partner of plastics processes”. In this section, in the article entitled “Composites: an emerging sector”, CANOE brought up the recycling of polymeric and composite materials – in particular those with acrylic matrices – using the cracking method which allows to get back to the original monomer. The resulting monomers could then be utilized again in the synthesis of new polymeric resins.
