Goal

The aim of the RECOMBINEUR project is to develop a value chain in the Nouvelle Aquitaine region around the recycling and recovery of high-performance thermoplastic matrix composites reinforced with carbon fibres.

 

Several shaping processes, such as cold spray, additive manufacturing, thermocompression, thermoforming, filament winding and stamping, will be studied, with the aim of producing a type IV hydrogen tank demonstrator using materials derived from the recycling of carbon fibre-reinforced thermoplastic composite materials.

RECOMBINEUR

The RECOMBINEUR project, revaluation of composites with the aim of improving performance, integrity, use and reuse, financed by the Conseil Régional de Nouvelle-Aquitaine as part of the AAP INTER-CT, brings together 7 Aquitaine stakeholders : RESCOLL, COMPOSITADOUR, AXYAL, PRECIMICRON, SOMOCAP, APESA and CANOE.
